  16. What position does Sneijder play? because I’ve only ever seen him play as the “number 10” in the hole behind the striker, never as a central midfielder which is what Utd need to replace Scholes.
    Is he capable of playing in the centre alongside a holding midfielder?
    Incase Utd fans haven’t noticed, Rooney has switched from a striker to a “number 10” in the hole behind Chica, and he’s looking fantastic.
    If Sneijder can play centre midfield, he would be a world class signing for Utd.

  22. People say Sneijder is the best young playmaker in the world, but I think we need to stop labelling him as a “Youngster” now, he’s just about hitting his best form and I think it’s time we realised that he’s the best playmaker period !!
